I have a love/hate relationship with the ipad. We go through fits and spurts of letting Addison play with and without setting time limits. worry that too much ipad will kill too many brain cells, squash creativity, independent thinking and hinder imagination. As the year draws to a close, we continue to hope. Hope for good health, good blood sugars, peace and happiness. Hope that research for Type 1 Diabetes continues to get funding and powers forward so our children may someday utter the phrase "I used to have Type 1". To Hope. When Addison was first diagnosed, I developed a horrible case of what I like to call Diabetes Tourettes.
