In fact, I should probably state outright that I really, really dislike exercising, but it has such an undeniable impact on my sugar, that I can’t not do it. While my sugars are at 96, they’ll continue to decline over the next few hours due to the exercise. I’ll check my sugar around 9:30, since it will be two hours since I’ve eaten and I’ll want to see how my breakfast is holding up. I should be a fairly slow descent in my sugars from here, though.

I''m taking a break from my essay volumes to recount a story, an episode from the other night. This is how I can best describe what happens to me when my anxiety is triggered. The other day was a recipe for the perfect storm. The lead up has just as much to do with the attack as the trigger. We had a busy weekend with zero down time for us to just chill.

In particular, I dont know what to do with all the scientific journal reports I have access to which demonstrate that a major cause of diabetic complications is not high blood sugar but rather autoimmunity and genetics. In fact, it demonstrated that any sustained lowering of blood sugar helps, even if the person has a history of poor control. Similarly, if the diabetic complications are genetically pre-programmed, controlling blood sugar levels is not going to stop them.

The latter two were distinguished from the former by the lack of sugar in the urine, but type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, i.e., diabetes with sugar in the urine, took much longer to distinguish.
