Explain the glycemic index. They are our god given right. We all have the opportunity to make thousands of our own choices every day. Are they all choices of good and evil? In fact most of the choices we make are not black or white.they are no color at all. Choices can be as simple as what we are going to eat for breakfast or what toothpaste we are going to buy. Some of the choices we make are more important.

[Glycemic Index] Do You? OR Don't you? Why?
I was also taught that high vs. low glycemic index foods should not affect insulin dosing and subsequently should not affect Joe's blood glucose levels. For instance, Joe eats a fairly high-fiber diet, which aids in lowering the glycemic index of the foods he consumes. Also, I have noticed if he eats a high glycemic index food solo, like a Popsicle for an afternoon snack (for instance) I need to bolus him with about 35% less insulin.
